This initiative will leverage and coordinate available resources to improve food security. The overarching themes of this initiative are (1) increasing access to locally grown organic public produce; (2) facilitating skill development and new job opportunities to support public produce production and distribution; (3) cultivating a political and social agenda which encourages and supports active participation in eco justice; and (4) promoting community pride by re-energizing a community of connected caring residents.
