This Community Wellness Campaign is informed and inspired by the people who live, work and spend time in Southeastern San Diego . We, who live and/or work here, know that this community is rich in diversity and complex in challenges. Our events, activities and projects reflect and build on the best of this community's cultural values, traditions and customs.

To that end, this year's Community Wellness Campaign will focus on developing support for programs and activities to engage residents and other stakeholders in our new initiative - The People's Produce Project . Our work adopts advocacy, community building and social determinants of health as the tools of choice to guide and organize our efforts to achieve sustainable positive neighborhood-based change. We envision many community forums, celebrations and learning opportunities at farmer's markets and growing places in Southeastern San Diego.
